When I founded Zel Human Capital Inc. 14 years ago, the mission was simple: build an executive search firm grounded in integrity, deep relationships, and the belief that finding exceptional leadership requires an innovative approach to recruitment. Zel Human Capital Inc. is now OMT Human Capital. This isn’t simply a new name or a rebrand. It reflects a fundamental shift in how leadership must be identified and evaluated in a world being transformed by artificial intelligence.
The AI economy is changing the very nature of leadership. Technical expertise and experience will always matter, but they are no longer enough. Tomorrow’s leaders will need to navigate unprecedented uncertainty, adapt continuously, challenge conventional thinking, and make better decisions alongside increasingly intelligent technologies. That realization led me to create OMT — Open-Minded Thinking.
Over the past several years, I’ve become convinced that the leaders who will thrive in the coming decade won’t necessarily be those with the most impressive résumés. They will be the individuals who demonstrate exceptional curiosity, adaptability, intellectual humility, learning agility, and the ability to integrate multiple ways of thinking when solving complex problems.
These beliefs became the foundation for the OMT framework and our proprietary leadership assessment methodology. At OMT Human Capital, our mission is clear: To identify, assess, and develop the leaders who will thrive in the AI economy.
